The Lazy Reader Couch Concept

The Lazy Reader Couch was inspired by a need for a couch that promotes comfortable reading. Conceptually, this couch would be made from all recycled products: wood and fabric. The fabric colors are inspired by a desert sunsets pallet, a subtle blue contrasted with a bright hue of orange-red. The couch exhibits a feature that enables aestheticism and functionality; the extended base with a book stop. This base is designed to allow someone to place books on the end and not have them slip when the couch is at the desired angle. Sitting low to the ground and reclined, this couch is designed for the reader.
